How To: Enroll in Benefits For Life Change Event

To enroll in benefits as the result of a life change event, such as the birth of a child, adoption, marriage, divorce, etc. select Start a new life change event on the My Benefits widget: 


You may also navigate to My Benefits > Enrollment > Life Change Event and click Start



Each step of the enrollment process will be listed on the left-hand side of the screen.  Click Continue to move through the workflow to the next screen. 


1) For each plan, you may select the decline/waive option to decline coverage. If waiving coverage, you may be asked to give a waived reason.


2) Some plans have the option to compare plans coverage, copays, premiums, etc. using the Review Plans button
 

3) If you are not waiving coverage, select the plan level you wish to enroll in.  


Once you select your plan, enter the Coverage Level


Some plans may request that you add dependents or beneficiaries to the system.  If you have this information on file already, you may select Add from Existing Contacts.  If you need to add a new contact, select You & your family to update your contacts
      


After you completed all plan selections, you will need to Submit the enrollment request. 
You may also Download a copy of your plan selection for your records.
