How To: Enter a Manual Check

Enter the Payroll Prep for the next scheduled payroll date


Select View Pay Statements in the Add/Edit Pay Statements Payroll Prep step.  Do not Initiate Payroll or Sync Time 



Select New Pay Statement 


Create a new pay statement using the Manual Pay Statement Type



Enter the earning information for the manual check and click Save.



Calculate Scheduled Earnings/Deductions

To include scheduled deductions in the manual check, click the Utilities button on the pay statement 


Click Add Scheduled Earnings/Deductions


Select the scheduled earnings and deductions that should be applied to the pay statement 


Modify Check Options

To initiate other Pay Statement level blocks, such as Taxes, Additional Tax Withholding, or Labor Allocation, click Utilities and Options 




Save Manual Check #

Once the pay statement is ready to be saved, you can record the check number you are using to generate the manual check. 

Under Check Information, dropdown Check # and select Manual and enter the check number
