How To: Post Open Shifts

How To: Post Open Shifts

Open (unassigned) shifts can be posted to allow employees to volunteer to take an unfilled slot.

From a posted schedule, click on Manage Open Shifts. This option will not appear on a schedule that has not been posted.

1) Select all or one of the Open Shifts to post. 2) Browse the Employees list to choose who the Open Shift will be available to.

1) Once employees are selected, Check Employees For Qualification. Employees who are available and qualified for the open shifts will appear.
2) Select the employees.
3) Optionally, you can allow employees to take half shifts. Choose the Default workflow and enter a date you want the shift to remain posted until.
4) Click Post to finish. Employees will receive a notification that an open shift has been posted and can request to take it. See How To: View and Accept Open Shifts (Mobile App) for employee instructions.
