How To: Create a Shift Template
Shift Templates (Workload Templates) can be created to define the days, times, cost center, skill and number of employees per shift on a given week.
From the Schedules tab of the dashboard, click on the Shift Templates icon.
Click Add New to make a brand new template.
Enter a Template Name.
Click the Add Rows button to add Fixed or Floating shifts as applicable. For each shift, enter the days From and To, Time From and To, Cost Center, Skill, and # Shifts (number of employees per shift). Optionally, you can add Lunch From and To times and choose a color code for each shift. The Start Date is only needed for shifts that run overnight from one day to another. Repeat until all shifts have been defined and Save.
