Employee Autopay Schedules will calculate prorated amounts for salary employees based on a typical work week. For new or terminating employees, this feature will calculate which portion of the pay period should be included for the first or last paycheck. Additionally, for pay rate changes that occur in the middle of a pay period, the autopay schedule will determine which dates within the pay period are included for the new salary amount.
Setup a New Autopay Schedule
To set up an Autopay Schedule, navigate to the Base Compensation > Autopay Schedule section of the employee profile.
Under Actions select View/Edit. *Only select +Add if an existing Autopay Schedule Type is currently active.
Select the typical work week type for the employee. *If you need additional or custom Type options, contact AtlasHR.
When completing the Payroll Prep process, a payroll alert will create for any employees with a prorated payment.
Likewise, a salary employee without an Autopay Schedule that has a start date or termination date within the pay period date range will also generate a payroll alert.
