How To: Setup Additional or Override State Tax Amount
State tax calculations may have an additional amount added on a per pay basis or the calculated amount may be overridden completely.
To add an additional amount to an employee's state tax calculation, navigate to the Tax Information > State section of the employee profile and select View Tax Jurisdiction.
Enter the amounts to withhold per pay check in the Additional Withholding or Override Amount
Additional Withholding will withhold the calculated tax amount PLUS the amount entered in this field.
Override Amount will withhold ONLY the amount entered in this field.
